ElephantRun Privacy Policy
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how ElephantRun handles information when you use the Android game. ElephantRun is an offline-first single-player game and does not require an account or login.
Information collected
ElephantRun does not ask you to provide a name, email address, account password, contacts, photos, microphone data, location data, or payment information.
- Adjust may process the Android Advertising ID, Adjust attribution information, app and device technical information, connection information, and IP address for install attribution and analytics.
- The remote configuration service receives the request IP address, request time, and app configuration request information to provide configuration and apply its three-minute IP request rules.
- A configured remote destination may receive attribution parameters appended to its URL. That destination may have its own privacy policy.
Local storage and gameplay progress
Scores, chapter progress, postcards, settings, and the current route are stored in WebView local storage on your device. This gameplay data is not uploaded to the developer's game server as part of the local game. Clearing app data or uninstalling ElephantRun removes local save data.
How information is used
Technical information is used for installation attribution, basic game and campaign analytics, remote mode configuration, abusive-request prevention, and opening a valid configured destination. ElephantRun does not use this information to create an account or process payments.
Sharing and third-party services
Adjust acts as an attribution and analytics service provider for the native Android build. The remote configuration service and a configured remote destination may process the technical information described above. ElephantRun does not include advertising display code, in-app purchases, or user account services.
Network and security
The core game remains playable without a network connection. Remote configuration requests use HTTPS and do not send credentials. The app does not download executable code, APK files, or dynamic modules. No security measure can guarantee absolute security, but requests are limited to the configured service and validated HTTPS destinations.
Data retention and deletion
Local gameplay data remains on the device until you clear app data or uninstall ElephantRun. Remote service records follow applicable service operations and privacy practices; the configuration service applies its documented three-minute IP request window. Adjust retention is governed by Adjust's applicable policies and service settings. Contact the support email with privacy questions.
Children's privacy
ElephantRun does not knowingly request personal information from children. Parents or guardians should review device and third-party service settings appropriate to their family.
User choices and rights
You can play the core game offline, disable network access through device settings, reset local gameplay data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app, and manage Android Advertising ID settings through Android system controls. Requests about access, deletion, or other privacy rights can be sent to the support email.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when ElephantRun's data practices or services change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
